COD4 MP Live arranging thread

Suppose, makes for fun grenades/airstrikes :)

Least I unlocked my Red Tiger for my MP5. Few more headshots with the other SMG's and I'll have a Gold Mini-Uzi just intime to prestige again and lose it :)
 
Wasn't so bad, don't play a lot of TD and Domination so it was nice to mix it up. Not really a bad thing having 3 more people on a map to kill neither.

I would play groundwar a lot more often if 9 out of 10 games didnt lag to hell. I never play it anymore for that reason.

I'd rather start my own lobby than join a groundwar game :(
 
private matches can be a lot more fun than ranked games, 8 people is enough but obviously more is better.

When we are all lvl 10 prestige and there is less reason to play ranked games we may find private games the way forward

I agree, i hate ground war. Even if it didnt lag - the maps are too small
 
Yeah private games sounds good, then we can have pistol and knife matches. I'm not too fussed about leveling too much, the weapon sets I use;

M16 RDS, 3x Frag, Stopping Power, Deep Impact
MP5 Silenced, 3x Frag, Stopping Power, Steady Aim
M40 Acog, Claymore, Stopping Power, Steady Aim

All of which are pretty much available from the go, only thing I get through leveling is the claymores and 3xFrag but till then I just use C4 anyway.

With a silenced Mini Uzi or P90 double tap is the way to go.
For hardcore Stopping power isn't really needed to a degree due to the fact that as long as you are within a decent range of the enemy (weapon dependant) then one bullet will take them down anyway.
And juggernaught I never use unless I'm using a shotgun.

So there is your answer. ;)

Double tap is a bit wierd as whilst you fire more you also need to hit them more times to kill. The ammo also runs out faster meaning it is easy to get caught out.

Juugernaught is for people who get shot at so it pretty pointless. It is likely the other person will have double tap on. It may help in those situations where you do have a 1v1 shooting at one another. But for me stopping power is the one to have.

Overkill is handy on hardcore when sniping.

As for the other, neither. I always use extreme conditioning, you can move around the maps so much faster. I guess deep impact can help on hardcore but I like to be able to, either surprise someone by getting somewhere faster than they expect, or get into a sniper position before being sniped.

Not really a fan of last stand. Martydom can be handy on HQ but then you lose the ability to get to the HQ faster
 
Ive also been trying sniper/mp5 overkill combo in hardcore S&D, but I'm not sure how useful it is, as when I play I either all out rush, or snipe...I usually die if I can't decide between the two, this combo is good on broadcast though.

Ive tend to do this lately, however it caught me out last night as I was in my usual place on Bloc without UAV jammer. As soon as the enemy got a UAV they found me. The Mp5 takes a lot longer to swap to than a pistol too.

It really does depend, the problem is most the time you realise you would be better with another perk yet you cant change perks after a round in S&D.

M60 with ACOG and deep impact is worth a try on hardcore though :D Its one of the setups on MP splitscreen and it seems surprisingly good on the bigger maps.
