COD4 MP Live arranging thread

I usually sit a lot closer than that when playing. Although last night Id guess i was a similar distance playing COD2 on my sofa and It was pretty damn good tbh. Although online sniping where you see them similar time to them seeing you means you really want the detail so youd either want to sit closer or a bigger screen.
46 is only gonna be too big if you get depressed at things like sub standard TV broadcasts issues shown up on the screen. For most people its not really an issue.

Yeah I originally had my heart set on a 46 but then McDaniel mentioned how bad his looks on SD and it kinda put me off.
Yet I worry about wasting money on the wrong TV again by going too small. I lumped the 37 from the living room into place and tried COD and it was still a bit too small for me to read the names who was in my team from the sofa.

I move a chair in my lounge whenever i play. Not being able to read text is pretty far or your eyes are letting you down. Neither are particularly great and would warrant a bigger screen or closer seating TBH.
Can you get a decent wall mount on a swing arm, bring the TV closer for the intense sessions, them move it back for TV which helps mask any SD concerns.

A swing mount is actually a pretty good plan, Didn't consider that really. My eyes are not too bad. I'm slightly short sighted and have to wear glasses to drive and contacts to work. I hate wearing contacts to game because a lot of the time when concentrating I dont blink much and my eyes dry out.
I liek to give my eyes a rest. A swing mount might just be the thing and go with a 40 incher. I will edit the pictures out of the thread in a bit.

When the Mrs goes to bed and I close the door it gets to 25-26 degrees in this room with all the heating off. Atleast being a tight northener your smaller room is even more toasty 
Speaking of the bitter north, the 20th of this month I'm in monkey land. I can get dropped of in your area to have you buy me a drink or I can meet you in a pub near your work if your not off.
I could possibly do one of the other days I'm up there but that would mean blowing out the people I'm visiting

Yeah my room is like an oven really, everyone in the house is freezing while I'm sweating from the heat! I forgot you said you were coming up, I'm on late shift on the 20th so I'll be at work in Stockton till 10 but I can always nip out for a while.
