COD4 MW2 mod

Fair point, and would I then be right in assuming that you don't think it's laggy, don't think it's full of noobs, and don't think it's full of hackers, then?

And if not, why do you have such a distaste for the game, and those that enjoy playing it?

I don't know, I think it's a good game! :p

I do too. It's pretty fun, but I admit it's not as smooth as COD4. I'd like dedi severs back :)

For public/casual play, p2p is OK. For fairness/competition? No, we're not there yet I'm afraid.

Apart from it takes 5 minutes to connect, then risk having a bad host or hackers.. the thing of having no dedicated servers leads to other things.. the lag deciding if you kill that person or not for example.
I can deal with everything else.. Though when I host everyone gets 4/5 bar connections... when other people host the majority of the time we are all on 3 bar. So why doesn't it pick me more :(

Ive not had any issues taking 5 minutes to connect and ive only had lag in one or two games in my time its taken to get to level 19, about 5 hours.

I guess everyones experience of games can be different.

I've never had to wait more than ~45 seconds to connect, I remember once having a bad host but it was promptly switched, I've experienced less than ten hackers in my sixty-four hours of play (I don't instantly assume that a decent player is a hacker, though) and I've found hit detection to be slightly iffy sometimes, but hardcore modes feel a lot better.

Horses for courses. But I resent the implication that I must be a brainless fourteen year old sheep, because I enjoy playing it.

(That last bit wasn't aimed at you specifically).

Me and a friend a few days ago tried to join a TDM. Took literally 5 minutes for us to be put in the same again together.. because steam connect failed constantly lol

Trust me there are a lot of people hacking... not necessarily doing well... but I've rarely joined a game lately where there isn't atleast 3 players obviously using wallhacks - even if they don't have great scores, not seen so many aimbots lately for some reason but still see 1 every 3-4 games atleast. Hacking is still rife in this game.

For the record I have over 700 hours of ingame time, positive KDR, 7 in 10 games I finish with the highest score at double that of the 2nd place player and often have a ~4:1 KDR at the end of the match.
