secondly how could i monitor the temps remotely using linux?
many thanks

lmsensors and one of the many php scripts which will present a nice looking "system status" webpage.

remote login using putty and running "sensors" will also work.

from what i remember is "sudo apt-get install lm-sensors" but google it for relevant guides.

The mATX PSU would fit in the Sugo fine, but personally I'd go with a nice ATX one. I suppose one benefit of a full ATX one is that you could get a better one for the price. It also just seems a bit daft getting a different PSU than the one your case was designed for.

With regards to the cooling, if you want low noise, you'd be best off getting some decent 80mm fans like Sharkoons, and perhaps swapping the cpu heatsink for a better one like the Silverstone NT06 Lite.
