COD4 - Sniper Level (No Spoilers Please)

All I did, was hide on the floor in the small ticket booth to the right of the ferris wheel. Due to the scripting/storyline the scottish guy cannot be killed by the enemy, so I just left him out there to shoot everyone one by one. I just laid on the floor of the ticket booth, any nades come in (which wasnt very many), I just threw them back out again.

Just laid there until the chopper arrived, then ran out, picked up the scot and ran into the helicopter. Once I realised that it was impossible for them to kill the scot, and impossible for them to kill anyone in the chopper, I just did that. Did the mission easily then.

It's about luck more than anything, i did it without using any gun other than the sniper rifle on the second from hardest difficulty, but i'm sure that wasnt down to skill.

also manged it on that skill level i just kept running back and forword using cover i had my pistol and sniper rifle :)
 
I ran towards the buildings, behind where all the guys spawn from and hid there. They all ran to attack the other guy and I waited for our heli. Simple
 
I have passed that bit now.

Probably the most gorgeous looking level in any game I have ever seen.

Was fairly simple I suppose, but I still lost a few lives.

I will give that dogs/Swimming pool idea a shot ( or a not-shot lol ) also.

I still cannot get over how much I am blown away by how good this game looks and I thought MOH:AirBorne was good looking, this is just out of this world!!!
 
Yer i played COD4 for most of the weekend, completed it and have declared "the best game ive ever played". Looks ace, plays ace.
 
Plant C4 in the spots where the choppers drop the guys, then fall back by the bumper cars and stick claymores around the area infront of you. Then once all the guys have dropped det. the c4. Only bother with the 2 drop points in the main bit, the ones on the far left you can leave for your other dude to get.

Make sure you've ditched your pistol for an AK47 as well.

Then just stay around the bumper cars and hold them off.

It's not that tricky once you twig how to play it, even on Vet :)
 
Im running through it again now, tryign to rack up my scoring.

Adds a bit of fun I think.

Already its quite shocking how much my skills have improved.

Not just the fact that I have changed my keyboard layout from cursors to W,A,S,D etc.
This is the first game that I have played using these keys.

Anyway, Im enjoying the game for many reasons.

1 - My skill levels have shot up massively due to keyboard layout
2 - Obviously, I am learnign how the game works, and how the AI works
3 - The game is just sofa king sweet.

In fact... I think that yesterday was the first day in several years that I didnt play UT?
