COD4 stats reset?

just logged onto cod4 and it said there was a problem and my stats had to be reset :eek:

took me ages building those stats is there anything i can do?and has anyone else experienced this?

i haven't reinstalled windows,only thing i have done is mess with my cpu clocks then when starting cod4 it asks if you want to run in safe mode,thats the only thing ive done and done it plenty of times previous with no probs.had a look and i cant find the stats file,any chance you could tell me specifically where it is and what its called?

....no i wasn't cheating,my multiplayer gaming days may have peaked back in the day of deltaforce 2 but im going out gracefully

If it's corrupt you should see a -corrupt added at the back.

Rename it back to mpdata and try again maybe without running safe mode.

nope cant find the players folder

looked everywhere.
