Thats the killer for me and why I dont use it.
Wasn't there an update a few weeks ago to enable punkbuster on Windows 7 ?

well im playing cod4 and never been kicked since they said it was updated,and windows 7 here

IIRC there were several work around's posted in the software section in the Win7 thread.

Never had any problems, i just usually download vista 64 drivers.
time to reinstall Cod4 then
thing is i did a fresh install of the w7 rc1 around 10 days ago and when i tried cod4 it kicked me after 5mins
The following games work online for me without hassle on Windows 7 build 7100:
Farcry
Crysis Wars
Call of Duty 4
Battlefield 2
Battlefield 2142
America's Army 2.0
Which is all of my Punkbuster games. I'd say it's fixed. Make double sure you manually update punkbuster by going to Even-balance's website and using the updating program from there though - as I'm finding quite a lot of people just try the games and still get kicked without realizing they need to update PB first (most of the time it doesn't auto-update - it's only done it once for me out of all of my games and that was on America's Army 2, the rest I had to do manually).
Might not work for you then. It's been fixed a hell of a lot longer than just ten days. You likely have a different issue altogether.

Does not work for me, was kicked last night after a few seconds and I have updated PBsetup. Both COD 4 and [email protected] reinstall W@W as it was Steam but I will give COD 4 another go tonight.
