CoD4 XP points

hi all,

does anyone know if when it says connection interrupted on a cod 4 xbox 360 online match whether or not you lose all the XP points from that game? I just got some challenges u c, will they remain do you know?

Think you lose them mate. Had a few games where the host has ended the game and I've got nothing

You have to 'finish' the game to get the xp, I assume this means return to the lobby.

yep, you can do them whenever, if the game ended you won't have got that chellenge...

ah not as annoying as i originally thought then. I just got 2000 points in one match by getting 3 challenges all in the same match. would have loved to just be promoted there and then. oh well

Actually, having just been in a game that ended with the host quitting I got the XP. Its if you actually quite yourself you dont get it...

I thought if you quit you got the XP for only kills/challenges that you achieved to the point that you quit, so no match bonuses etc.

If the connection was interrupted and bringing the game to an abrupt end you didnt get anything was the way I thought it worked.

That's how I thought it worked, thinking about it though, there have been a few times where I hit 1000 points on a weapon, only to find on a later game that I still had to do level III on the same weapon
