COD4

I left my BF2142 DVD at uni and not going back for a month, is it worth buying COD4?
Is it like a on-line multi player in the same way? And how will it compare to 2142?
Sorry for the simple question but my google skills are weak at the moment, as I cant find such basic info

If you liked Call of Duty (1 or 2) you will love CoD4, a bit short but not a boring moment.

Never played COD game in my life,,I just wanted to know if there was a big online community playing with CTF, Domination and stuff to keep me busy

Well CoD games tend to be a bit more linear than most, however they are very well made and scripted. The online CoD4 game is flying at the moment, personally I think it's massively better than BF2142 online.

I don't think you'll be wasting your money

yes definately get it you wont reget it, it takes 2142 and wipes the floor with is, u wont be dissapointed!

Maybe not cod 1&2 are world war 2, this is modern like BF2 not neary as much fun.

CoD single player is always brilliant, CoD4 singleplayer is the best yet. CoD multiplayer is quite good, but never got into it until CoD4 multiplayer where you can rank up and unlock stuff. Although the ranking system isn't as good as BF series ranking system, its good to casual players. I recommend getting it, its darn good!
