Coded WWII message found

Not sure if this has been covered, search forum, but found nothing, so here goes:

I find this fascinating, a pigeon remains found in an old chimney Bletchingley, Surrey, containing a WW2 message.
Orginally found in 1982, it's only just come to light.

I wonder whether the message will be revealed publicly.

Not sure it should be reffered to as a hero or decorated for bravery given that it failed to complete it's mission and died in a chimney without delivering it's message.

Imagine if the message was something huge and it could have stopped the war a year or so early if it had got through?

I saw this on the news the other week and they said it was really rare for the messages to be in code so obviously important.

He was called Bob but he changed it so he'd have a personalised numberplate.
