Simple aim here is to have some fun and compare times.

This should not be seen as a serious contest or for the more talented racers to upcast to lesser or newer players.
Several here have recently bought new wheels so please feel welcome to join in and dont be shy.

Please keep all discussuons here with regards the TT and not general things about the sport or the game.
Hints and tips to help others are welcomed and will be posted as are talk on sector times or setups.

If this is sucessful we can try the next or remaining GP's of the season.
Sessions begin "Friday" pre race and end "Sunday 10 pm" on race weekends.

SENS 180 (I like 'quick' steering, you need to be able to 'chuck' the cars to full lock quickly for some corners)
FF 50 (Not too much, you don't want to be fighting the wheel! )
SHO 60 (Again turned down from max, don't want to over do it!)
DRI OFF
ABS 040 (Mines set low, I like really light brake pressure)
Lin 000 (Since I use in-game settings)
DEA 010 (A tiny amount of deadzone as I set in-game to zero)

The 3 FFB settings are (Note the strength is 50, this is to reduce the wheel fighting me turning in etc)

I cant check till I get home, if anyone is sure that car perormance is not effected in TT mode then yeah any car and as thiers likely no way to implement setups then any setup. All TTs should be done on DRY TRACK...

In the spirit of fair play we can post setup configurations.

People are welcome to post videos or pics. As long as they also post the time set in the asked configuration. That will make it easy to keep upto date with new times achieved from everyone

OMG

Have to say I spent the past hour trying the track and Ive not posted a clean lap yet.
Not knowing the track and getting used to the game is proving really tedious. Yet I m getting more used to it. This is quite hard and at the moment I cant play in cockpit mode as the track view is very restricted. Using the rollbar view above the drivers head.

Anyone else really finding it daunting?
Will try to get a clean lap in for some time at least.

Well done!

The invalid lap is just OTT, theirs a difference in going a smidgen wide over a corner than cutting a corner for an advantage. This seems very poorly intergrated for TTs.
Ive lost count how many laps Ive lost due to this.

Guys can we only use the pre set configurations offered in the Garage/Engineer and not make our own settings for front/rear downforce and ride height, gear ratios. I ask as I never seen the option last night and well back at work today?

Their is no way to ensure everyone uses the same settings as some may not play logged online. Besides this is not to alienate newcomers or several new wheel owners here on the forums by setting a rule for all aids off.

As stated in the very first post this is for fun but people are welcome to help others and find an optimial setup. It can be fun and still competitive. Besides the better drivers will be faster with aids on or off but with aids on at least many can still participate.

Well done to Demon, aha nice determination their having a nice battle with Dan7
Using the info posted guys as it will be interesting to see how PAD/WHEEL compare.

1x PC entry was void as not posted correctly as was a few others so ignored.
I feel we have to drop PC entries now as mods are available and its unfair to console players also with PC owners likely having much smoother framerates.
Sorry but in the fairness to more this is the best thing to do.
