Start of with the basics. Maybe start of simple with the Android GUI builders.
But that isn't programming.
What got me into programming was creating games. i started with text based adventure games, then onto a simple 2D games using ASCII art, then moved on to use some basic 2D tile based games, which then evolved in to complex 3D engine. When I was 16 I had a pretty much exact replica of the Quake 3 graphics engine, completed with basic physics, collision detection, dynamic lighting, splines, BSP tree for spatial indexing etc (with aid from online resources of course).
