Coding on CUDA ??

Does anybody know how i can setup CUDA to get coding? Ive got everything installled yet i dont have any IDE and my VS 2010 doesnt have a clue about CUDA....... all the NVIDIA documentation is pretty much worthless.

I just want to be able to write an application and compile it on my GPU??

You've probably posted in the wrong forum for this - should've gone here, this forum is primarily for the discussion of graphics cards, rather than of how to program them!

However, there are some examples which should (I think) build provided you've installed the CUDA toolkit correctly - open the NVIDIA GPU computing SDK Browser, and in the first tab there should be loads of examples that you can play around with which shouldn't be too much of a problem provided you've got some programming knowledge and some experience with Visual Studio (and if you haven't, CUDA is not the place to start! You should learn C first). If you're having trouble building the examples for whatever reason, it might be worth uninstalling and then reinstalling the CUDA SDK. If you can get stuck there's also the CUDA Quickstart guide (google it, it's like the third result down or something).

Other than that I'm not going to be of much assistance because of my inexperience with CUDA (I'm still rocking my Radeon 4870 and OpenCL ). There have been some people floating about who claim to have used CUDA who might be more helpful though.
