Who else suffers from the above problem?

Just like any addiction, you're skint, but you sure do manage to find money when it comes to Coffee, I'm skint waiting for payday on Friday, I'm walking through town, and the smell of that beautiful bean wafts across my nostrils, a sudden surge of pleasure paralyses the mind, the only solution? Costa Coffee, large mocha.

Apparently the average person spends £600 a year on coffee, imagine if we could all kick this addiction in the balls and get rid, it's like a free top end GPU a year!

I gave up coffee three years ago, switching to tea, and then around 8 months ago switch to decaf tea. I've now made the final transition to tea without milk - I suppose the only other step is to remove the teabag and just go with water.

I had blinding headaches for two weeks after giving up coffee - I used to be on a good 8 cups a day - and that just convinced me even more to give it up. A similar reaction when switching to decaf tea. I don't miss caffeine now, and when I do occasionally have it I really do enjoy it and can physically feel the impact.

I drink coffee, but find it pretty easy to avoid all the overpriced high-street stuff, I have a grinder and plunger at home, and the free stuff from the work Franke machine is pretty good.

yeh i have it bad, im on my second bean to cup machine in 2 years after wearing out countless espresso machines with overuse, I dont buy from coffee shops now as the office has a nice machine and I have my machines at home, saved loads even when buying expensive beans

I have one a day in the morning when I wake up and every other Saturday I go to a local coffee shop for breakfast and have two there. I do really like my coffee but I don't have too much, some people in work have about 9 cups a day (although that is instant).

Rarely buy one out and about, I can get a bag of beans for the price of a Costa or Starbucks black coffee. Use an Aeropress at home with a fairly cheap grinder.

I'm into mochas at home at the moment but only have 2 a day,the rest of the time i drink water.

cant remember the last coffee i had.

Depends, Starbucks Lambert & Butler blend of coffee bean you can't really taste anything but cigarettes but a Mocha from Costa I can taste the coffee I think.

I’m a massive fan of coffee but I surprise myself in how little I drink it. I guess having having two parents with a caffeine addiction has made me behave? I generally have between 1-3 a week. I’ve always wanted to get a proper espresso machine for Home but I drink so few I don’t feel it’s worth it so just have a lob machine.

There’s a coffee shop at the end of my road that serves some of the best coffee I’ve had. Nothing better than popping out on a Sunday morning and bringing them back home to relax and drink.

Once thought I was getting ill. Turns out I picked up decaf instead of full fat caffeine coffee.

Don't really spend that much in coffee shops but I usually have a cup going while working, which adds up terrifically over the course of a working day

I'm wondering if I should get a good coffee machine, make my coffee on a morning and stick it in a flash, but will the taste of funny in a flask? Can get a proper machine with a peculator from John Lewis for like £120

'Average person' spends £600, so given a lot of us don't use overpriced coffee chains, the regulars probably spend double that. Baffles me.
