coffee maker

getting a new kitchen fitted and my missus says theres money in the budget for a coffee maker ( I have my classic stove top espresso maker but I am looking at something more convenient)

does anybody use the tassimo/nespresso makers or should I go for a more connventional espresso maker/steamer

budget up about 200 quid?

I like the idea of these combi machines that you use ground coffee and the ESE pods

anybody tried one?

i had a look on that thread but at 90+pages long I wasnt sure how long it would take to find people who were using the same sort of machines I want!
