COFFEE

Ever-so-slightly off-topic:

GF bought me some "Kopi Luwak" beans at Christmas as a special occasion. I've vowed to not have them until I move back to London.

Has anyone had this, am I going to notice a distinct 'nicer' coffee, or, will it be just like something normal and nothing really (no really, be honest!) that special!!

While coffees do taste different, I find that a coursely ground bean tastes better and not bitter.

Anything finely ground tastes more bitter to me with one exception in that gold block Italian stuff whose name I can't remember.

monsooned malabar is my fave atm. is fairly strong coffee at 4 but tasted great!

i was given this coffee grinder for xmas and it;s very good

Good choice nickel!
I work in a coffee shop called Roberts & Co, it has been awarded the best coffee in the North West :D
But yeah, if you like something stronger go with the monsooned malabar, if you want a mid strength (3) go for Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.
I love the coffee shop i work in, they sell a massive varirty of coffee that is roasted in shop every day.

Have a look, big list of coffees and teas available to buy. all freshly roasted and available ground to your needs or can be bought ground.
