Been playing a lot of Company of Heroes lately. It used to just be me and a mate but another friend has since bought it (Game + Expansion for £17? Bargain!).
Problem is, now he's involved, the game is laggier than ever. It was never perfect before, but its worse now.
Thing is, I've always had 3-5 bars on the "Perf", and Mate no2 always had 1-2 red bars. Mate no3 (new one) alyways has 3-5 bars also. Pings are sub 100.
So why the bad lag? Is it mate no2 with 1-2 bars in Perf? I've done some searching and it appears that the bars signify how you computer performed on similar maps in previous games, so does that mean he'll need to drop his GFX settings? Does his hardware lag cause the our games to lag??
And finally, maps - does anyone know of a good source for maps, and do you have any recommendations? We play 2v2 and 3v3 mainly.
