Interestign stroy but what I wonder is how do they do that?

DO they swallow some kind of capsule that does not get digested? How can this even be possible.

THen it sits in the stomach and he poos it out later just as if nothing happened?

What type of substance can be swallowed but not digested? How does this work?

ANd no Im not planning on trying it lol just intrigued

It said the drugs were in capsules (That could be any sort of container) and I'd guess he just swallowed them.

Obviously the health risks are high, in a similar sense so is the risk of getting caught.

well how the hell do they drugs or capsules not get digested...this story is not rare you here it often swallowed $$$ worth of drugs.

I wonder how it happens.

The GI tract is pretty inhospitable, but not everything can be digested by it. Many types of plastic and rubber can go right through without being broken down. It seems that these people make use out of this to smuggle stuff. That said, it's certainly not fool-proof, a good number have one or more of these little packages burst while in transit causing an often-fatal overdose.

I'm sure it's to do with the type of plastics used and that they're not broken down.

If they break or burst inside the carrier there is also a high risk of death.

Your digestive system cannot break down every single thing you put into it. There are some things which can pass through whole with very little break-down.

But yeah 2KG of coke is pushing it. Poor guy must have had some pretty bad indigestion.

What I'm more intrigued about is how that volume of drugs can be in his stomach. It would need to be seriously stretched out if it was all in his stomach? Or do they swallow it over the space of several hours, so some of it passes into the intestines?

I'd guess this is what happens, just need to be really careful with it all. It really is a incredible amount of drugs (or almost anything) to be held in your stomach.

Make sure you don't poop yourself.

There's loads of stuff that can't be digested! Corn for example. Stuff cocaine in sweetcorn and you're sorted.

See this all the time on "Nothing to Declare". Believe it or not but a few people use condoms to swallow the drug. Very dangerous though as if they split you're od'ing on a huge amount of drugs.
