right. dumb question perhaps. what IS the difference? i was under the impression both were just sugar free versions of the normal coke. so.....why? is it just because men don't want to sound like little girls when asking for a diet coke, so they have something else to call it?

Diet Coke is a drink in itself, wheres Coke Zeor is supposed to be the same an normal, just with no sugar I think

so there IS a taste difference between the 2? but both are sugar free and much healthier (though i wouldn't say healthy overall) than the original coke.

Coke zero still leaves that feeling on your teeth that all calcium is being removed from your body, diet coke doesn't. Thus I prefer Diet coke.

Zero is awful.
Diet is much nicer.

But Pepsi Max pwns all.

Its a different type of sweetener used between them.

Both coke zero and pepsi max have the same rubbish side effects as the normal version. The fact you need to drink 4 times as much water as the drink itself.

i can't imagine it beating diet coke, tis the drink of the gods. pepsi max is only nice from fast food places, i don't like it in cans/bottles

Diet Coke and Coke Zero both have no sugar.

Difference is that Diet Coke is based on the New Coke Recipe that bombed so badly in the 80s.

Coke Zero is sugar free also, but instead based on the coca cola classic recipe that coke reverted to when the new coke dive bombed in the 80s.
