Cola Syrup

The only advantage I can see with mixing from syrup is being able to adjust it to your own taste preferences.

also the space it saves as mentioned above, but having syrup in your home is never a viable option.

say i ran out of coke, i need to go out and spend £30 to get some more. now say i ran out of coke and irn bru at the same time, thats now £60. whereas if you bought bottles it would cost you £1 or £2. now we need to add the cost of the gas too. you need to pay for renting the cylinder as well on a weekly or monthly basis depending on your supplier. on top of all this, you will need a cooling machine, which is going to be constantly on sucking at your electricity bill. because you will want your drink coming out cold not room temperature.

as for saying staff never drink the syrup stuff when they find out what it really is, that is also a load of crap, ive seen many staff drink from drink dispensers, including when i go out for a meal at nando's, etc.
Not really crap as I wasn't making a fact. But the bar staff where I work don't touch the stuff.

Heh, thanks for all the replies, guys. Guess I'll stick with the normal stuff :)

That's just weird then. I doubt you'd struggle to find someone drinking the stuff in McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, Nando's...
