cold boot problem

Hi all,

Got a Amd 4400+ on a dfi mobo with a 36 raptor drive for windows and 1 in every 3 cold boots it hangs on the windows logo screen, restart and all is well.
Never does this from a warm boot ( pc turned off for an hour or so ).

Any ideas??

Could be a driver problem in the windows boot sequence,does it do it if you boot up in safe mode ?.
