Cold or hot showers?

Cool showers for me not too hot but not too cold! might try turning it all the way down next time at the end ... how exciting!

To freshen-up we take a dip in the pool and follow that with a lukewarm shower.

I have a hot shower for medical reasons - but if I didn't:

A hot shower opens your pores allowing you to get the dirt out - which is the primary purpose of a shower.

I take my showers hot enough to make my skin go red. Then rinse my hair out in ice cold water when I am done.

normally hot, but on the rare occassion i go for a sauna, i go from sauna to cold shower, it is refreshing

Well i usually have warm showers, but reading this thread makes me want to start having cold showers

I will for the next week or so, until it gets cold anyway ^^

I prefer a hot blast of water then to rinse soap off a blast of cold water it apparently closes the pores on the skin

Remember this is the summer where your water will be naturally warmer, have your cold shower mid winter and you'll know about it.

I love hot showers, I have it just past 8 (9 being the top) on the dial.

It feels sooooo good, I could spend hours in there. During summer I blast myself with the dial on 1, man it's refreshing.

Actually I tend to have a hot bath followed by a freezing shower afterwards. I feel much more alert and active afterwards

I guess the cold temperatures act something towards Cryotherapy although not as extreme.
