I think a White Winter (ref : Daily Mail) is anything up to but not excluding 40 minutes of snow that might have landed in Kent or looked like it was about to.

London's a bit annoying right now. I'm ok with the cold, although a bit warmer wouldn't be the end of the world, it's the sun that's annoying. It's sunglasses and gloves weather...

I can take hot hot and cold cold as long as it is dry. Cold and wet is just horrible...it seems to grip your whole body every time you step outside. Yeuch.

Havn't seen any frost since early december at least, and that lasted only a couple of days. Was at least dry last night, drove home from the relatives after xmas, figured I'd get out b4 the next winter storm hits tonight/tomorrow. Before xmas had rain, floods, downed trees and massive diversions to avoid said floods, didn't want to got through that again. Bit early, but better safe than sorry.

When I looked out the window this morning I did notice the ground covered in frost, but for once I seem to live in a flat that has double glazing which actually works. The place seems to tick along at a steady 19 degrees, without the need for heating.

very well i've built myself a little harem of bed warmers, my new years plan is to slowly tour the country adding at least one or two places i can sleep in every major city should i need to.
