Colin McRae on 360 looking good

Ah! Memories of playing the original Colin McRae on the Playstation!

Was a bit dubious when I saw the screenshots but you can clearly see the aliasing in the first 3 screenshots. I reckon they're highly tarted up screenshots with loads of post processing.

Why does the C+VG site always make my whole computer freeze up? :/

Probably a combination of all the flash crap they use, plus the video that loads up in the menu on the left.

That looks strikingly similar to the PS3 version http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=148055

Just about every game that is cross platform on the 360/PS3 will look identical I'm willing to bet.

I see what you mean though, the shots are exactly the same so something seems slightly dubious.

I'm sticking my head out here and saying this - is it wrong to be not impressed by those screenies? They don't look all that to me, they just look a bit odd to me. Then again I wasn't even impressed by the vids of that F1 PS3 game either.

Still got the first McRae here on cd for the pc but can't make it run on an NT based OS :(

If it uses that much AA in game i will fall off my seat i think :p

Anyways sod Colin McRae i want a new Ralisport Challenge!!!!!!!! Or even RS2 to work on my 360!!!!

Damn right, RSC2 was one of the best looking games on the Xbox and probably up there with all time good looking games including next gen racers. More to the point, handling and physics engine, CM and all the sequals seemed to use the same engine with a few tweaks i.e Car pivots on a central point super unrealistic and annoying. RSC2 although apparently not ment to be a simulator actually captured the physics rather damn fine. through cormers, hills, dips, and jumps the car reacted as expected in real life.

Richard Burns Rally, probably thr most realistic physics to date, but ive never played it to sample it. but from what I hear, the latter is true.

BRING ON RSC3 from DICE (I know its not going to happen, but only DICE can pull it off)

wow, looks amazing, loved the CMR3 on ps2.
Im also looking forward to sage rally revo, got a microsoft wireless wheel pre ordered too :D

I loved CMR series ( on the pc) so really hope that the X360 version is as good as all of the above, and I also hope its not toooooooo far into 2007 before its released

Cant compare to RallySport as I never saw it, but any decent rally game is something to look forward to
