Collatz member drive

I would like one active volunteer to help me admin the OcUK Collatz Team, it really isnt a big job and not scary at all. just a matter of trying to answer technical problems on the message board and answer queries on the forum and once in a while go threw the members and get rid of some of them, but only the inactives(I set my self a twelve month interval for inactivity but this is up for discussion among active members) thanks.

Over the past few days me pending credit has been growing and now stands at almost 200k just wondering if thats normal as I have never had mine anywhere near that high. It has been going down so the units are being evaluated but I seem to crunch faster than they give me credit for them

You do have a lot of pending credit but the deadline for most of it is the 5th may. Perhaps it wont be validated till then the only thing i can suggest is wait till the deadline then we will take a look at it more closley your work units do have to be validated by three other computers. Collatz has a minimum quorum of 2 and initial replication of 3 which means a WU is sent to 3 computers and two have to send the same result back in order for them to be validated. If the first two computers send different results they will not validate and it says 'validation inconclusive'. It then waits for results from a third computer to try and validate one of the original results against that. If that fails it then sends out the WU to another computer up to a maximum of 14. We might just be waiting on the other computers but i cant be 100% on that. I would suggest you go direct to the project administrator [email protected] and email him the question,or go to there message board and ask the question there.

They might be abel to help you there.

Yeah i knew that it needs to be done on a few different computers but I was just a bit curious as to if you guys have the same problem. Though it is going down so i suppose its not a problem
