College Degrees Easier?

Yeah the UEA.
Well, as far as potential employers are concerned the value of the degree will be the same as any other UEA graduate. I don't know how well regarded UEA is for computer science, but it has a good reputation overall, particularly for science. And according to the Times, compsci graduate employment runs at 62% - which isn't too bad. Though I have no idea how well this will translate in the real world

Just to thrown in an example. I graduated in Computer Studies from Liverpool John Moores this summer and my dissertation had a min word count of 18k plus code :p

You at ETH Zurich? I been looking at doing a masters there in Computer Security (has been pretty well recommended to me).

I'm at the sister uni in the french part, ETH Lausanne/EPFL.

2 of the bets technical universities in the world. Highly recommended.

A masters will be 18 months long.

It depends where you went as to how well they are received in that field. Some uni's specialise in the area of your degree then you are going to have a very nice degree. What really counts is getting enough info on the CV from your degree, then its all interview.

I'm in 4th year (BSc Computing & Networks at Abertay, Dundee) and just finished semester 1 with 3 subjects. Two subjects had coursework and exams, one is just coursework.

Semester 2 has two subjects both with coursework and exams plus my Honours project. Web based CSR.

Just finished business and information technology and queens university belfast, I had around 6-8 exams per year, many many practical exams and my dissertation was over 200 pages, plus the creation of a stand alone app and presentation.

Sounds like you have it easy enough atm :P
