College disaster...

Just a few weeks back I enrolled at my local college to do 2 more A-levels this year. This year the college has decided to scrap the idea of any type of fee concession, however this isn't a problem as I've always been willing to pay. The only problem is that there are not many people that are.

I got a call yesterday from the boss of the adult education department, and he basically said - "Look, I'll be honest with you, these A-levels are probably not going to happen...would you be willing to transfer yourself to the thursday evening class as we have a few more numbers than the monday morning class, it'll give the thursday class more hope of going ahead" I said of course...I havn't got many other options. He also said that the thursday class still may not even happen. Then he proceeded to tell me even more bad news - "The chances of the English A-level going ahead are pretty slim too, and even if they do go ahead they will be postponed for a few weeks".

I'm pretty devastated really, it's the only college in my town which is a possibility, the other colleges in neighbouring towns are not really an option.

I just have to wait until tomorrow to find out what the verdict is, I'm just hoping for the best. :(
