on my Hannspree monitor it defaults to RGB full but on my Iiyama ProLite B2712HDS 27" it defaults to YCbCr 4-4-4, setting it to RGB full makes to looks washed out and the blacks are light gray.
Of course, if YCbCr looks better I'd use that. I wouldn't worry about the unnecessary conversions it may introduce; although information is lost in the conversion, it is very little. As for why it's the case, it may be settings in the monitor causing it to use a smaller colour space when RGB is used.
I think he's a spammer or something. Not a very good one though? His comments always confuse me. Like yesterday he said something about getting my facts straight but failed to explain what he meant.
