Colourblindness

Yeah red/green colourblind here. Sometimes get red and brown mixed up, and some shades of yellow and green :/

I've just gone through loads of red/green colour blind pictures and can see them all fine, I'm deffo colour blind though because I can't for the life of me see the number in the discs and every male on my mum's side of the family is colour blind.

Green people would certainly be interesting, although if you've had it your entire life, I guess you wouldn't know, and it would seem normal.

But that's not how they work, colourblind people see numbers in some of the pictures, that people without colour blindness wouldn't see.

Yep, I'm colour blind and to me all those pictures look the same. The dots one and the christmas tree ones look a little different but the rest look like copies! :)

Are they very different?

Not on all of them, there are different types, think the idea is so they can work out how severe the colour blindness is.

Yes very

I'm very colourblind and see big differences in most of the photos.
Same, although wouldn't colour blindness change how we see the second "colour blind" images too?
As people who aren't colour blind see the second one how we see the first, but we see the second one differently to how they see it?

Yay colourblind here aswell, what do i win apart from being annoyed at/bullied by the question 'what colour does this look to you?' which i receive from everyone...

There is a suprising amount of men with red/green colour blindness (estimated to be as high as 1/5). All it technically is is that we see the green spectrum of light slightly shifted towards red, so colours like browns and purples are kinda of hard to differenciate from similar colours

Also colourblind people cant apply for public emergency services or military service :(

I'm colourblind, can't do any of the Ishihara tests. Those pictures all look hugely different in colour and brightness, so I guess its not the same type as what I have.

I've never had a problem in my life distinguishing colours, I could tell you what any colour was. But if its in one of those tests, then I'm stuffed.

Wow thats weird that they look the same to people who are colourblind. To me, since im not, the colours look almost inverted sometimes, like the opposite of what you should see. The berries especially.
