A while back blue leds seemed to be all the rage. Is this still the case? Has the fashion passed? If so what has replaced it? Can you get purple leds?

You so want to stir it up don't you!

White and black go well, as does red and black.

Blue and silver all the way though, my personal preference.
 
Actually, regarding the case colour I really do think it depends on the individual case. But what I was trying to gauge was whether the fashion for blue has passed and what has replaced it?

EDIT: For the record I'm also a silver and blue fan. But for some reason I kind of fancy purple for a change.
 
White normally looks quite good and you can get purple easily enough, IMO combining white & blue would look very nice together in a silver case.

I think the whole idea of LEDs and Neons go with age, as in everyone has a phase where they want bloo everywhere.

I do think the blue looks much nicer than the green and orange thought in respect of power and HDD.

My lian li PC402a has a red and blue for power and HDD and it's just not quite right to me.

I have a champagne CM ATC200-CX1, gold front, that once i've cleaned it up i'd like to change the led colours and the two front intake fans for led ones (no side window panel for it).

I'm still debating on colours. Purple, yellow, orange - i think purple will be more striking though

Red could be nice. I think the key is to have a uniform colour. So blue for the power and blue for the hdd... or red for the power and red for the hdd.Mixing colours just doesn't seem to work.

But I think purple is the new black :)
 
i was thinking how awesome a combination of black case with purple fans etc would look.

if i had the opportunity to build a new computer anytime soon, i'd definitely go for black with purple (although as far as i'm aware, apart from uv cathodes, purple stuff isn't easy to come across)
