Columbian Plane Crash

Amazing story, but also seems to me, something "odd/doesn't add up"

mother dies, 2 pilots die - but the 4 children survive the crash (miracle 1) and then somehow survive 40 days in the jungle - including an 11 month old baby....(miracle 2) - Claims they ate flour and berries for that whole time.
They come from an indiginous tribe, so the older one knew a bit about how to survive in the jungle apparently.
Amazing story.

Besides being taught how to forage it sounds like the mother survived for four days or so.

Horrific to see her dies as well but maybe she was alive long enough to effectively save the kids.

Both a horrendous and incredible story.

That explains it, they know their **** when it comes to the Jungle, i doubt they would have survived if they grew up in a city, even a Colombian one.

Pretty remarkable over all but the fact they are from an indigenous tribe increases their chance of surviving ten fold. Also, 13 years old in indigenous Colombian is not the same as 13 years old girl in the first world. She would have had a maturity on her way beyond her years.

It was probably the fact that kids actually wore seat belts while adults thought they were too cool and were chucked out of seats.....no miracle just basic transport safety that people don't bother with.....
Or, and more likely, that the 2 pilots died instantly when the plane nose dived into the ground, and the mother died later as a result of the plane nose diving into the ground. A miracle all round the kids survived the crash, then the weeks alone in the jungle before being rescued.

Ok so not a miracle then just position on plane....all sorted.
