Combining RAM question

HI, I currently have 8gb (2x4gb) 1600mhz Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey, and I can get 2x4gb 1600mhz Corsair XMS3 for cheap. Will I be able to use them both together? Thanks
PS. My motherboard is a P8Z68-V Pro if that makes a difference

I doubt anybody here will be able to tell you for sure mate unless they have that combination themselves which is highly unlikely.
Personally I would get a matching kit/set & sell the 4gb set in the M&M as you now have over 250 posts so can use M&M. :cool:

Ok, thanks. As the XMS3 is for free I'll check the combination first.

The XMS3 is good RAM.

Sell it as your computer is too crap to be worthy of the XMS3 goodness

In theory it should work, but there might be things I don't know about that may effect it.
