Come on then, who's pointlessly at work?

I've gotta work because people are retarded and insist on buying seriously massive shops just before christmas making the shop get packed. THEN they insist on moaning about the queues when it's all of their fault for being retarded and not shopping in advance, i could understand fresh stuff but people are buying booze, frozen and all sorts of stuff they don't need, tescos is closing for ONE DAY you aren't going to die. Go away, go shop somewhere else you ***holes.
 
i have today and tomorrow left before xmas :( today will be kind of busy but tomorrow is going to be clean up
 
Unfortunately I'm monumentally busy.

However, since most business owners are skiing and the devs have gone back to India I just keep hitting road blocks.
 
Sounds like there are a lot of people in the same boat as me :p

No Huddy, no risk. We just monitor hosted systems, they aren't being used much at this time of year so less to go wrong I suppose. I'm doing the odd bit of SQL and firewall rule changes etc. I'm ploughing through the random pictures thread as we speak :p
 
I work in a bookies and the sad old gits spending all their money this christmas.

Is good though for them all the walk in ask whats on and I say nothing, it's all been abandoned for them to ask why....

So they spend all their money on the bloody slot machines .. sad old codgers, already said to few of them go home and see your family, which may get me in trouble when the boss comes in.

I know that feeling, 7 site's that need to be live by the end of the month, a mountain of programming that will have to be done in my own time and a boss that won't stop nagging about it all.
 
I'm actually off today which is good as it's given me the chance to catch up on the Crimbo shopping :p

Working 1400 - 2200 tomorrow and I expect it'll be as chaotically busy as yesterday was. Shouldn't complain though as it keeps me in a job at our busiest time of the year.

Then I'm off Thur, Fri and back 1400 - 2200 Boxing day :eek:
 
I'm most defo pointlessly at wrk unfort as ever there's tons to do and the most idiotic ass kissing &@£"@& of a person jus got made our supervisor so he's on a 'i'm alpha' bender, 99.99% of us want to knock him out, why do ass kissers get promoted when there &£&" at there job?
 
Me - dunno what I'm doing here truth be told since there's that little to do.

I have a meeting at 2.30 and that's it now for the next two days.
 
I'm currently sitting at my desk browsing this forum and listening to some music off my laptop :)

There is two people in the office today me and another chap. We both have no work to do so we are just chilling. To be honest though the only reason we are here is to answer the phones in case anything major happens. Which it never does.

To be honest I did the xmas shift last year I don't mind it. Its like having a day off except you are at work :p ....

Only in the office today and 2moz and then I'm off thurs, fri, sat, sun, mon, then back in work for tues :D
