I think not.
22 minutes of people making silly stuff up can be entertaining, but I'm sure that video wouldn't be.
Media blackout? Where? The 2012 nonsense lapped up by fools too ignorant about it to even know that it's based on a religion they don't believe in (and it's wrong even in the context of that religion) has had massive media coverage.

There is nothing to worry about, there never was.
It's a small 3 to 5 km wide lump of space debris made of ice, which is just like billions of its kind out there. Its distant orbit, which will bring it as close as 21 million miles from Earth! that alone also makes it too far away to exert an impact. In fact, even the magnetic field of the largest planet in the solar system, Jupiter, can only affect particles 7 million km away from it.

I bet they haven't, unless you're counting the "full alignment" as lasting for long enough to cover an earthquake somewhere.
Why does anyone think trivial alignments matter? The biggest gravitational influence on Earth comes from the moon. None of the alignments have any significant effect apart from eclipses in some cases. You're counting a comet as serious influence. Why? Magic rays that are special only in a straight line? A giant Beholder looking into space with its main death ray eye?

That's what I'm assuming too, which just makes the whole thing even more silly. Having said that, the really hard core nuts will probably retort that it was part of the media easing us in to the topic, or some such nonsense.
