We have new Dell PCs at work and the supplied USB mouse is really thin. It was great at first, but I hadn't noticed my little finger kind of hangs off the right edge of it. This has started hurting a lot, aching and whatnot. Basically, I need a mouse with somewhere to rest my little finger on.

I've got a Logitech MX510 at home and never had any problems with huge gaming sessions etc. Presumably because it has a bit of meat on the right hand side of it?

So, what mouse should I get? Presumably the MX510 is no longer available?

I'd like to add that I do not want a wireless mouse.

Oooh, I've just noticed that OCUK still sell the Intellimouse V3! I'll be having one of those I reckon. Had one before the MX510 and had to replace it after years of abuse. Good mouse.

I got a Zalman FPS Gun, was sceptical at first but its pretty dame good! Fits my hand perfectly and just feels well built and well designed.

I'll 2nd a deathadder, was the first 'proper' mouse I bought and I'll probavbly get another if this one breaks. Although going on what you said about your little finger, mine does hang a bit, never noticed it though!
