I have lost my cd-key for this game and ea support won't give me another one :(. Anyone here have a spare one? email in trust.
 
Don't want proof you own the game - just suggest you go back to EA.
I managed to lose my key for SIMS 2.
Gave EA a call and they asked for a digital photo of the box, disc etc which I provided, they then sent me a replacement key.
 
No , I have gone to them and provided photographic evidence which they asked for , they still haven't got back to me 24 hours later..
 
Have you ever had the game installed before?

Should be where the key is if you had it installed once before.

I had the game installed before , on another computer which I can get on , however the computer had issue's and windows had to be completely reinstalled ,.. so it won't be on there?

So they've simply not got back to you rather than refusing to give you one?

Patience is what you'll need, 24 hours isn't a great deal of time for some customer services departments.

has been 3 days since I originally emailed them .. still no response apart from the one above. should I send them another email?.
 
Thats a bit annoying, I had mine within 24 hours. They were reluctant at first but then they just wanted the number off the front of the disk and that was that. I think it'd be worth a polite email asking what the situation is.
 
Don't forget that this is the weekend, perhaps they don't have full amount of customer support staff working weekends?
