Does this add ships and subs by any chance? I really do miss them from red alert. I was gutted to see there were no controllable ships in this game, espeacially that most of the box art had ships and air craft carriers featured in them.

Sadly no, they were never intended to be in the game and like i said, it only adds stuff that were already in it before release then taken out.

China Nuke and USA Air are my favourites aswell

sadly i only play as the nuke general these days, the airforce general is cool but planes are just too easy to counter

to the OP my fav to go is probably the USA air general, i like to set up a huge ass defense and use aircraft to do all my fighting, but dont let any of my opponents know

Recently started playing this game. Quite addictive to say the least.

I usually play as the Chinese Nuke General. Started playing with my mate against the computer. Cant wait to play it again, he wants to play against me, im reluctant to do so as he is fairly talented with it.

I suggest you all take a look at www.shockwavemod.com, its the best mod for new units and balance, they are due an update soon, the existing release adds 0.92 many new units and adds a bit mor to an aging game/engine. Eventually they are adding a navy

Personally having played company of heroes i see no need for generals now, EA broke it anyway, even with a super pc it chugs away eventually. time to move on.

Defo try the shockwave mode it renews the game for a while !

Shockwave is a very good mod, but progen is better, Shockwave tries to add too much stuff in and a few of the generals are left behind.
