get a good graphics cad and overclock your processor and youll be fine

3500 is mark05 is pretty low

the game runs fine on lower spec hardware, you'll find the game very playable with that setup, although the graphics card is the weakest link it should be ok running it, possibly think about a graphics upgrade though, no need to spend v much though.

Anyone played this with an x850xtpe? Is so, how is it?

I'm using a 9800 pro right now, but I'm tempted to pinch the x850xtpe from my watercooled rig while it's being re-done. :)

I'm running an X1900XT 512MB @ 1680x1050 with an OC of 640/800.

In-game settings are high or ultra high if available bar Shadows which I turn off as they look stupid and blocky and i've got in-game AA at Level 2. Everything runs at 30FPS bar when i've got stupid amounts of units on the screen.

I've also got 16x HQAF with Trilinear and Adaptive AA set to quality although i'm not seeing much difference with Adaptive on.

What is everyone elses rig setup too?

Grrr getting annoyed with the demo. Really, what on earth has the GDI got in its arsenal to get rid of a wave of 'fanatics' without heavy losses?

Sharpshooters and a couple of turrets?

You can also get your troops to build pillboxes and then garrison any infantry in them.

Also, try investing in the rail-gun upgrade for tanks. :)

should i get SupComm or this?

You cant even compare the 2 they are massively different, my major gripe with this is the inability to zoom out far enough so you dont feel as if you know whats going on, coupled with the fact the UI is far to big and cartoony, it needs shrinking about 35% its massive, akin to some sort of fisher price toy.

taz488 -I loved all c&c and redalerts but now i have sorted my economy out in sup com its a great game. Today had a 2 vs 2 with a random guy and although we got beat in the end it was a great 45minute game. He flanked with an exp gunship and t1 fighters and i attacked with heavy gunship and planes.

eventually got surrounded by naval units but it was great fun. Just make sure you have a decent computer to play it

edit -I would say get sup com, c&c 3 is still a quality game though
