I'm wondering if this is a problem with my graphics card (are they wierd artifacts?) or if C&C3 has a wierd bloom-like effect?

It's like horizontal lines on bright objects. Like the yellow stripes on the ground (tutorial, target range, right at the beginning) or on the fuzzy tv screens on tunnels (again on the tutorial right at the begginning). Also on like, roofs. And tiberium, it's all over tiberium..!

Anyhoo yeah, does everyone else get this? Is there an option to turn it off? (it's irritating!)

Running latest drivers?
Does it not happen on everyones then? :( I'm running very recent drivers but probably not the latest, I'll have a look. Let me know if this happens on everyones!

I get that but only when i zoom in,not from normal view, this has happenened on all the drivers i have tried so far, card is a 7800gtx

Nope, no other games show shinies...

I just installed it on my brothers PC, it does the same thing on his. He has an nvidia 6800GT, I have an nVidia 7600GS.

They're not so prominent when I'm zoomed out, but still there if I look for them.

I'll try a driver update.

You guys who aren't getting them, are you running nVidia or ATI cards?

I'm impressed how well this game runs - 1440x900 on high (not highest) settings. No AA but I might turn it on as it's pretty darn smooth :) And the loads times  stupidly fast :D

I don't have the full game but on the demo, in particular the tutorial mission I have that effect too (using an X1900XT) and I'm pretty sure it is not a graphical artifact! Its like a glow effect and looks fine to me but I can see why it might become irritating.

Also it doesn't appear on the first campaign mission in the demo so I'm guessing it depends on the weather conditions of the map.

BTW, just out curiosity does the full game remove the 30fps cap present in the demo?
