Command & Conquer 3

They never seem to have sorted the cheat thing out properly.

In RA2/YR, reconnection errors, disconnects etc.

Generals/ZH, out of sync errors, disconnects etc.

I think they need to incorporate punkbuster into C&C 3.



I will be buying this game, I've waited 3 years for a C&C game.
 
Looks fun, currently playing through then RA2 then gonna move onto RA1 and its expansions!

Whos Sawyer?

I must admit, I got "out" of C&C for a while, and then just completed Tiberium Sun with the Nod (first time I completed that game) and enjoyed it totally.

I must say that I really am looking forward to C&C 3!
 
So far EA looks to have got this game just right. All the way down to the cheesy cut scenes! :D Bet they had some fun filming those! :D

PS: The cut scenes in C&C:TS had Michael Biehn, so not the first time they've splashed out on proper actors :)
 
the game may actually be quite good, there's only one thing about it that's bloody appalling and that's the absolute lack of attention to scale. well, that and the fact that its made by EA ...

roll on Supreme Commander :p i cant help but wonder if the 3 races in SupCom which im beta testing prompted the creators to make the 3rd race in this...

also can some CnC nutt explain to me just wtf command and conquer generals was all about and how it fits in ? :confused:


still 2007 looks like a good year for RTS

Generals er... doesn't fit in!

It's more of a sidegame that EA made for the C&C series, there's no real "plot" to it.
 
Looks awesome, now this is almost finished can they make renegades 2 as it was the best fps ever. So easy and fun to play online, just clean easy fps.

cannot agree more. i LOVED renegade online. frankly there a few times when iv had more fun than sneaking into a GDI base as the cloaked guy (forgot their names now) or storming the GDI with flamers and all bunching up to the defence tower.

i think there were plans for a sequel but they got canned. i dont think the first game got enough commecial success or acclaim

Not enough people gave it a chance, The units where to simple, the maps where very basic, the way the game worked was simple and the graphics all though ok weren't stunning. But hell was the game play fun and that what is lacking in most new games. Too much is focused on graphics and weapons.
