Command & Conquer and Red Alert

I can't remember the exact details, but if you open up the right config file (the one with the same name as the main game exe I think) inside RA2 and Yuri's Revenge you can manually alter the resolution to fit modern bigger screens. It can make the units look a little small though!

I played ra3 during the beta, back when all that was wrong were the choice of units (a bear?) a few bugs and the fact in was in cartoon style.

Now the balancing is terrible. The last game I ever played I was soviet and built a huge army of mixed units, launched a nuke on one of the opposing teams (AI) and then attacked them. My force did sod all despite me micromanaging them all the way (I didn't just send them in), whilst in a well balanced game, mixed units would do well. I agree to balancing it so that a mass of the same tank would not be able to destroy a crippled base, but yeh this sucked more than the previous games' tank rushes.

Never touched ra3 since, I still play the first RA quite a bit however and am not against ra2.

Command and Conquer Generals (Plus Zero-Hour Expansion Pack):
One of my all time favourite Strategy games, theres nothing bad to say about it, graphics at the time were simply amazing, well designed and potrayed. nothing else to say, its perfect!

Worst/most Disapointing:
Command and Conquer Red Alert 3:
This...has to be one of the biggest disapointments ive seen since...the...well anything. Red Alert 3 was supposedly created with Apollo and i think Dackal who are the best gamers for Strategy games, well they didnt rly do that much of a good job mainly because of one unit, Rocket Angels...oh wait not a unit THE WHOLE CHINESE ARMY ARE OVERPOWERED IN MULTIPLAYER. Allies are really underpowered and poop to play, if you play allies online people will mock you knowing that even if you are good at strategy ul loose anyway to a new starter. altho the girls were hot its like a movie to game adaptation on a serious note. i say screw you C&C creaters for ruining such a great franchise. sigh i had much hope...
