Tiberian Sun was possibly the worst of the series (completely ignoring C&C Renegade) but I still got some good gameplay out of it, played it online a lot.

I agree, but RA2 had its charms too with online play... even if there were absolutely no decent players online

still got the big box original C&C in the cupboard with the expansion

Still got my CnC world wide warefare with tiberium sun demo. ^_^

That had to be the best £30 i ever spent.

I think you'll struggle to get the original working in Vista x64, but the (updated) version on the 10th Anniversary DVD works fine.

It's only a tenner as well if you know where to look.

This is the version i have and like said above well worth the money.

I have only played the very first so this is the game for me but many say RA1/RA2 are also very good i must give them a play at some point.

Had a quick look at the latest but not my cup of tea.

Just thought even tho i have the 10th Anniversary version the disk has never been in the drive see it cheap and thought i have some of that

Red Alert 1 still plays superbly though

Havent played red alert 1 for a while it must be said - always preferred the 2nd one though, if only for the more pleasing visuals

Haven't tried it on Vista x64, but it works fine in x86 under Win95 compatibility.

Renegades Singleplayer was absolutely No Swearing!, but the multiplayer had some great action. Infact the new Path Beyond mod is pretty good fun.

RA has to be the best title for me, and the original C&C a close second.

Red Alert 1 was brilliant. Red Alert 2 for me looked far too cartoony, and this put me off. RA1 had this gritty, realistic look about it, and in ultra hi res SVGA, at 640x480, it looked ace!

"Yes Sir", "Reporting", "Acknowledged". Yes I played as GDI first

It's ace, just as I remember it.

Personally I find the graphics/interface prior to TibSun a bit too much to bear.... RA2 is still quality though although things are a bit small in high res!
