Is it worth me buying C&C3?? what its like?
take this into consideration
i LOVED red alert and red alert 2
i thought tiberium sun was pretty rubbish
didn't rate generals either, just not as addictive :/

so it c&c3 more towards tiberian and generals with the new layouts and nod/gdi or is it anything similar to the red alerts?

thanks

I thought C&C3 was inferior to even Generals, I'm sorry to say. Although pretty and slick, C&C3 was tactically barren as far as I was concerned, which is not a good thing for a real time strategy game.

Better than Generals IMO, but nowhere near the likes of Red Alert or C&C.

I completed the GDI campaign and then never really played it again, just didn't engage me enough.

Imagine the gameplay of generals but with prettier graphics. Generals had a quirky sense of humour to it, not great but more than other cnc games. Not nearly as good as RA2 but much better than tiberian sun

Excellent game. I play it online almost daily. To say it has little tactical depth is inaccurate, everytime i play i come across new tactics.

it's a damn fun game, but very arcadey - the most micro you'll see is 'Q' (select all units) > Attack move. Oh, and you can reverse units. but that's about it :P
A lot of the units are underused, although there may have been a balance patch out since I last played.

If you can get it cheap, it's a good laugh, especially with 4+ players, but don't expect anythign deeper than arcade gameplay.
