Command n Conquer keeps crashing :(

Hi chaps,
When trying to start any game in C+C 4 I just get this. It is a fresh install on win8.

Has anybody got a fix?!

Have you tried searching for a fix using Google? I know a few of the C+C games have compatibly issues with Windows 7, so will be the same for Windows 8.

I don't get a compatibility tab :confused:

I am the administrator and have tried all of the advanced options...

Still no mention of compatibility mode... I didn't buy this through steam either-I've bought a hard copy from Game today...

Still crashes though even when run in XP SP3

Well I'm on crysis now and so far this doesn't seem too bad

chucked the disk in and everything has been fine.
