Community/CMS website

I want to set up a website that is basically an online community for a group of people.

I've been looking at the varios CMS's out there, e.g drupal, joomla, xoops, but I'm not sure they do what I want, so thought I would consult the collective knowledge of everyone on here!

What I want to achieve is a website where the user logs in, and then has access to a forum, gallery, calendar, news pages etc and where each user can have a profile type paga (ala myspace etc) where they can have a blog etc, and also be able to send messages to each other.

So, has anyone done anything similar, and can suggest a particular CMS to use?

Joomla does all of that with a few add ons

Drupal or Jamoola they have built in forums. You can even add phpBB to Jamoola but it seems tricky.

Ive added SMF to Joomla on one site. Was a doddle to be honest

php-fusion has inbuilt forums default, and you can get a few add-ons to really add some cool stuff on them.

This is where I would show you mine, but alas, I broke my install last night, then proceeded to delete the files without a backup.

Not sure on the user side of things though.
