Has anyone recently had an update which has caused there main operating system to slow down drastically and even stop it working, I had to restart in safe mode and remove comodo from my computer to get it to work again. Anyone know why or anyone else had this problem yet I know of one other case and it happened to me and Lyon at the same time funnily enough.

He be right and it be bizaare.

Cowell gave me a call telling me his windows wasn't responding, so I went to his gaf to have a look. Sure enough windows was taking way to long to respond to anything. Tried a few things like removing sticks of ram, reverting CPU to stock and what not but couldn't figure it out. So back to my place I went to have a look online and when I got back my OS (WinXP) had locked up as well. Having a look at both our processes cmdagent.exe was using 50% of the CPU, I don't know why something hogging only half would cause the system to slow down to a halt, but it did. Has comodo released a disastrous update?

Bang it in an email to their tech support or have a scout around their forums (if they have any). If it is a widespread problem no doubt a fix will be on it's way.

In the meantime there are plenty of free alternatives to try - have a look in the sticky.

I've been using it for a few weeks without any problems . Just checked and cmdagent.exe is using 00 in my processes . I've used Comodo Firewall for years now and have just moved onto the all in one to try out . It's good and my PC is faster than it was running Kaspersky . But ,I'll look out for that update though. cheers
