My pc just froze and it has been happening randomly. I looked at the event logs and this is what it says.

The NVR0FLASHDev service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

Any idea?

Looks like nvidia driver related. Try uninstalling it and downloaded the latest driver?

The weird thing is it happened on 2 different driver version.

And it always happens when I am watching a video and doing other tasks.

Omg, I went to the Nvidia driver folders and I see this.

Is it normal to have 4 different versions in it? I uninstalled and used driver cleaner.

It can't be the GPU, I can play game for 10 hours ++ straight fine. And the temps on the GPU is fine.

It only happens when watching a video.

8800GTX SLi

The driver "folders" are fine, thats where the installer extracts them to, then uses a file within the folder to install the driver. You can actually delete the NVIDIA folder from there as the files are no longer required once installed. I dont know what else could be the problem. Does the problem occur when your not using SLi?

Haven't tried that yet. The problem is very random, I can watch video fine for 10 hours ++ and the next day 4 hrs ++ = lock up.

I don't have this problem if I am not watching a video. Gaming = no problem, general web browsing = no problem. Its only when video watching + multi tasking = might or might not crash which is annoying.

I'm thinking if it might be other components that is causing it? Such as RAM?
