comp just random shutting down

im running 1st gen ryzen 1800x and asus hero board watercooled ,temps are ok no faults on board comp will run for hrs or days then it just hangs I have to switch off at mains to reset any suggestions its totally annoying

Have you done the obligatory BIOS upgrade, checked your power state config and confirmed you’re running a Ryzen aware OS? In the early days for example several issues that produced this sort of issue were resolved either by BIOS/OS updates or manually disabling power management.

PSU or memory are first things that come to mind, it's often a case of swapping out parts I'm afraid.
