Comp keeps crashing

ok i have adjust the voltage, but when i try to run in the black slots the computer doesnt go passed the screen where you can press Delete to get into bios. not even the keyboard works, this normal??

Does it let you get in with the voltage back to how it was and the RAM in the black slots?

when the RAM was in the black slots when i turned my comp on i couldnt access bios to do anything it was just staying on the first screen you get when you turn your comp on.

But when you put them back in the yellow slots it let you in? Without changing anything?

yeah had no problems loading it up once the RAM was back in the yellow slot

Hmm now that don't make sense... you might want to post this on the P5N-E thread on the motherboards forum (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17668494) some clever dudes over there, and also if the problem gets solved, it will not only help you, but others in the future!

Right i have posted the problem and the thread with the post on that link you gave me, thanks for all your help so far man, will let you know if i get the problem solved.

No worries, good luck with it! So you are still getting the problems in the Yellow slots and on DDR Voltage of 2.178v? Did you run memtest on your RAM aswell (If you have already answered that above then sorry, I can;t be bothered to read back thru all posts

)?

Yeah RAM the memtest and was still getting a lot of errors, i think if i can get the other slots to work then i should be ok, there seems to be a problem with the yellow slots. So i'm gonna try and see if someone can find out why the other slots aren't working.
