Hello OcUk gurus.

I'm looking for a compact ATX case that lends itself to good air cooling. So far my short list includes the Fractal Torrent, Lancool 216, and the NZXT H5 Flow.

Any others I should consider, or do you have any experience with any of the ones mentioned? Candidates would need to be able to house the largest GPUs and a lack of RGB would be a bonus! Not interested in the O11 style cases as I intend to mount it under the desk.

Cheers!

I've been looking into similar cases, with water cooling support. For me, the Lian Li 216 you mentioned meets most of my requirements. For airflow the two 160mm are relatively unique. I think the Fractal Torrent is the only other case with similarly sized front intake fans.

I used to have a Silverstone FT02 which had three 180mm bottom intake fans and had a 90 degree rotated layout. Very good airflow, but by no means compact.

I still have an FT02! Unfortunately it just doesn't fit the biggest modern GPUs.

It's a great case, really well built. I almost regret selling it, but I moved to water cooling in the TJ07, which was amazing for water cooling. Now running a more compact setup in a O11 dynamic mini. Decent case, but suffers from lack of front intake.

Lack of RGB is a positive for me
I'n that case the p400 air is just what you are looking foir, the airlow, for a midi case is fantastic I got two

ARCTIC P14 fans for the top, because they have good static pressure to go against the top grill, not sure if ocuk have them, I got them off the rain forest

you need a lot of fan headers for all these fans though, or a fair ammount of splitters, don't think ocuk have these either I had to get them from the rainforest too, really would have thought that ocuk would have splitters, but no

i went from a TJ07 to an 011d Evo. The 011 doesn't have an front intake but I wouldn't says it needed when you've got 3 bottom intake and 3 top exhaust fans. Also 3 intake. Plus if watercooling air flow is less of a necessity
